    Maciej Fałkowski presented his letters of credence to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran H.E. Hassan Rouhani on June 17, 2019.


    Mr. Maciej Fałkowski joined Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1998. Between 2015 and 2019 he was director and deputy director of Economic Cooperation Department responsible also for  the MFA’s cooperation with the OECD. Since 2018 a member of Advisory Council to Polish Space Agency.   In 2013-2014 he served as a deputy director of Asia Pacific Department. He spent many years in Security Policy Department as an expert and the head of the unit for export controls and conventional disarmament.
    He served also as a consular officer in Canada (2003-2007).  


    Graduated from Catholic University of Lublin (Law). Completed post-graduate studies in ADR at University of Toronto (2007), Executive MBA at Warsaw University of Technology (2009) and PhD studies at Warsaw School of Economic (2013).  He is married with one child.
